Hi, I'm Anne

Over the past two decades I have worked at the intersection of technology and people across nonprofits, higher education, public sector agencies, and the private sector. I have been a Salesforce administrator for one of the largest conservation nonprofits in the world, a Salesforce consultant focused on higher education and nonprofit implementations, and a Director at Salesforce itself — where I led partner enablement and launched the first Education Cloud Consultant certification and contributed to the Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certification program as well. I have also served in operational and administrative roles inside small 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations and a state agency — which means I understand budget appropriations, grant cycles, lobbying restrictions, and the very real constraints and regulations that come with mission-driven work from the inside, not just as an outside observer. Early in my career I also conducted a full grant program evaluation for a state research institution, designing the framework, defining the metrics, and producing the findings report, work that informs how I approach program evaluation and measurement today.

I currently hold seven active Salesforce certifications, but more than any credential, what I bring is over a decade of knowing this platform from every angle: where it transforms organizations and where it can go wrong.

When I'm not working you'll find me in the mountains. Every summit requires preparation, the right conditions, and someone who knows the terrain. That's exactly how I approach consulting.

My Viewpoint

At its simplest, technology is change. Some technologies create incremental improvements. Others fundamentally reshape how we work. AI is one of those rare, once-in-a-generation shifts.

But throughout my career, one thing has remained constant: technology has never been the hardest part. Helping people adapt to change is.

Whether implementing Salesforce, building global partner enablement programs, evaluating grant initiatives, or building AI-powered learning experiences, I've found that success isn't defined by the technology itself. It's defined by how confidently people are able to adopt it and make it their own

.

The technology changes. The human challenge of adapting to change does not.

My Mission

I empower people through technology and relationships.

That sentence has been true at every stage of my career — across every role, every organization, every sector. It is not something I arrived at. It is something I have always done.

At AnneAble, I call it the three E's: Educate, Enable, Empower. Whatever the engagement, whether I am helping a nonprofit evaluate a grants program, guiding a small business through their first Salesforce implementation, or advising a software company on entering the partner enablement market, the goal is always the same. To leave you more capable, more confident, and more equipped than when we started.

AnneAble is not a coincidence. The name is a reflection of that mission: the belief that the right guide, at the right time, can help any organization find what they are already capable of.

My Approach

I am your guide, invested in your success, not just your project.

That means I will tell you when something or someone is not the right fit, including me. If a project is outside my scope, too large for a solo engagement, or better served by a different kind of partner, I will tell you that honestly and connect you with someone in my network who can help. I have spent years inside the Salesforce partner ecosystem. I know the partners, I know their strengths, and I know who will be the right fit for your specific needs.

It also means I start with your reality: your budget, your team, your timeline, and your mission. Those are the constraints I design around, not the other way around.

And ultimately, success is personal. I want you to leave feeling empowered, with the confidence to navigate whatever comes next. And if a new challenge arises, I'll be here to help guide the way.
